Animation Taster Day in London on 7th August

Interested in learning 3D animation, but not sure you want to commit to an entire course of study? I'm running an Animation Taster Day in London on 7th August, hosted at Escape Studios in Central London, for anyone who wants to try out the software and see if it's for them.

Taster Days are a great chance to learn about character and creature animation, and find out what an animator's job is all about.

You will learn how to use Autodesk Maya and get a hands-on introduction to 3D Animation techniques; the full day costs just £25, and by the end of the day you'll have your own piece of creature animation uploaded to your YouTube channel.  No prior knowledge of Maya - or any software - is required.

Animation Taster Day
This one-day taster course gives you get an introduction to the art of 3D Animation, exploring what it’s like to work as a professional animator.

I'll take you through the animation process from start to finish, ending up with a finished movie file.

When and where
The class takes place on Wednesday 7th August at Escape Studios, 190 High Holborn, from 10am until 4pm. To sign up, follow this link. The class costs £25.00, and Escape Studios throw in lunch and coffee for free.

What you will learn
Working with tools such as Autodesk Maya and the Adobe Creative Suite, you’ll get a hands-on introduction to 3D Animation techniques.



By the end of the day you will have your very own piece of finished animation uploaded to YouTube.
