This year the VFX festival has been split into three separate but overlapping events. All of the events are well worth attending, and we strongly recommend that any of our students in the London area attend.
VFX Festival - The Future, After Hours and Edu
The first event is the VFX Festival: The Future - a one day event which takes place on Thursday 6th June. This event is aimed at professionals and students looking to find out about the latest changes in the creative industries. The second event is The VFX Festival: After Hours, consisting of two days of talks from Wednesday 5th June until Thursday 6th June on projects delivered by leading studios, and panel discussions focusing on skills and technology of the future. The third event is VFX - Edu, which takes place on Wednesday 5th June and Thursday 6th June, and is aimed at students.
VFX Festival - After Hours
This 2-day event will take place from Wednesday 5th June until Thursday 6 June. Hosted at Escape Studios in central London at their campus at 190 High Holborn WC1, these late afternoon technical talks and advanced workshops are aimed at experienced industry professionals.
