Activities Week at Bucks Starts on Monday 9th March! What's Going On?

DreamWorks comes to Bucks on Monday 9 March at 11am in S3.01
Yay! Next week starting Monday 9th March is Activities Week at Bucks! That means, at last, a chance to try new stuff, like, for example, going home for a week to do your laundry. Noooo! Please Don't! Activities Week is full of great stuff, and worth sticking around for.  For one thing, Monday March 9th at 11am in S3.01 is our Industry Panel featuring the head of international recruitment for DreamWorks Animation - an unmissable event for all our animation students. And that's just the start of it.

Some of the sessions we recommend for animation and digital artists include:

Monday 9 March:
Animation Panel to Launch our new online MA
S3.01 at 11am

Also on Monday, at 2pm, PR Yourself - learn the art of self-promotion with Isabel Dexter in N2.05
6pm in Dance Studio 2 - learn to Salsa dance!

Tuesday 10 March
First Aid training. Get certified! (High Wycombe - room to be advised)

Wednesday 11 March
10am CV workshop with Dr Rita Kapedia in N3.08

11.30am Business Startups and Practical Finance with Paul Dexter. N2.08
Vital info for anyone starting a business from scratch.

Thursday 12 March
2pm in N2.07 - learn the basics of sign language!

Friday 13 March
Alison Branagan talks about How To Set Up a Business
We recommend this strongly for anyone interested in freelance work - which is anyone in the creative industries. 10am Owen Harris 2

Also speaking at 10am in the Gateway Lecture Theatre is Sir John Hegarty, advertising industry leader and pioneer.

The activities are many and varied and all are free. Be warned though - the popular sessions will fill up fast, so book early. But most of all - have fun! It's a break from your regular classes and a chance to try something completely different.

And don't forget to check times and dates on the day at the reception desk. Errors do creep into the schedule from time to time.
