Internship at Leading London VFX House for Bucks Students

Soho VFX
The Animation & VFX Course at Bucks has been contacted recently by a leading London animation and VFX house looking to arrange for some Motion Graphics/Animation students to do internships, at two to four week intervals, starting in May and continuing through the Summer. The company in question specialises in "high-end moving image design".  Their recent work includes Eurovision Greatest Hits, Sunday Night at the Palladium, The Voice, Strictly Come Dancing and The BBC Music Awards.
London's Soho - World Centre for Animation & VFX

Is this a paid internship?
No. The scheme isn’t paid, though they will cover expenses (£10 per day) and if they assign students any commercial work whilst at the company, they will pay a daily rate for that.

Who should apply?
The internship will would probably suit students looking to use their After Effects skills, or possibly Cinema 4D, Photoshop, Illustrator or Premiere.

What kind of projects will our students work on?
They can’t predict exactly what projects the students would be involved with, but it should at the very least, provide a decent overview of what happens on a day-to-day basis in the industry. The company say they have had "some success with this scheme in the past, with some students being offered freelance work".

How should students apply?
Students will need to send in their CV, a covering letter and a showreel link; if successful this will be followed by an interview.

Any students interested in applying should contact me at alexander.williams@bucks.ac.uk
