Win a Dell Workstation at the 11 Second Club

Next month we're recommending that all our student animators enter the monthly 11 Second Club Competition. 

In May 2021 Epic Games, creators of the Unreal Engine real-time renderer, are launching a special prize challenge with The 11Second Club, in association with Dell Computers.  First prize is a Dell Workstation.

About the 11 Second Club
The 11 Second Club is a monthly animation competition, free to enter.  Throughout the competition, participants can share their progress with one another and critique each other's work - just like in a real animation studio.  At the end of the month, all the participants vote for the submission that they consider the best for that month. The idea of the 11 Second Club is "to give animators a chance to practice their skills in a fun, challenging environment".

May Challenge

The May Special Challenge is built around Unreal Engine and Epic Games' new fully rigged MetaHuman characters.  From May 1, animators will have 30 days to create the best animation they can with 11 seconds of audio, using the MetaHumans, and Unreal Online Learning course content.  Any animator can enter. 

Grand Prize - Dell Workstation

The grand prize, for the best animation,  is a new Dell Precision Mobile Workstation and an Epic Games "swag pack".
