Keith Lango Animation Tutorials Are Now Free

Keith Lango YouTube Channel
Good news for animation students; veteran animator and animation teacher Keith Lango has now made his animation tutorials free for everyone to learn online.

Keith's animation tutorials include animating a James Brown dance, rigging and skinning animation, and how to approach the business of animating a scene.

It's a great resource, and a very useful supplement to the growing body of online resources available for learning animation.

Other resources we recommend at YouTube include - of course - our own YouTube channel, which has many free videos and learning resources.

We also recommend the excellent series of videos in all things Maya by 3D generalist Mike Hermes. Mike's tutorials are very good - well paced, clear, and easy to follow.  Plus, he promptly answers user questions in the comments section below the video, so that any bugs or uncertainties can be cleared up quickly, so you're not let stuck half way through an impossible tutorial.

Structured Course
Of course, there is no substitute to a well-stuctured course of study (such as our own), rich in feedback and aimed at a professional level of skill and capability.

But we encourage all our students to cast their net wide, and pull as many resources as they can from the large - and growing - range of free materials for learning animation.

For more on the experience of studying at Bucks New University, come and visit us at one of our Open Days, take a virtual tour of one of our animation studios, check out what our students think of our course, and see why we're ranked in the top 12 creative universities in the UK.
