For our new animation students just starting with us, there is a good deal of information to take on board, including who does what at Bucks.
There are a number of people involved in delivering our MA - the first (and still the only) online MA in animation in the world.
Below is a brief guide to help our new cohort of students figure who's who, who does what, and how to get in touch with the key people whose job it is to help our students get excellent results.

| Alex Williams - Animation Lead |
Alexander Williams (that's me). I first developed the course back in 2014, and helped to steer it through the validation process. The MA first launched in September 2015, and grew out of a partnership between Bucks New University amd my online course Animation Apprentice, founded in 2012.
I reasoned that many animators want to get a proper online training in 3D animation, but also want to receive not just a certificate but an internationally recognised formal qualification in the field. I oversee the practical day-to-day delivery of and grading of the practical, animation element of the course; that is to say the non-academic content.

The Registrar for the Online MA is Debby Holmes. Debby can be reached at: Debby.Holmes@Bucks.ac.uk. Debby deals with general questions of enrolment, marking, grades and academic deadlines.

Academic Faculty - Russel Stone
Heading up the School of Design, Media and Management at Bucks is Russel Stone. Russel is our Head of School, and has overall responsibility for all the courses within the School. He can be contacted by email at Russel.Stone@Bucks.ac.uk. Russel does not however deal with day to day management issues on the online MA in Animation.

Rob is the Course Leader for the MA in 3D Animation. Rob joined the MA course in December 2018, and has overall responsibility for the course. Rob can be contacted at Rob.Penhaligon@bucks.ac.uk. However, for day to day questions, it's best to contact one of the folks above.
External Examiner
The External Examiner for the Online MA is Mike Smith, Head of Animation at Leeds Arts University.
