The VFX Festival is Back: 16-18 March 2020

The VFX Festival is back. The annual festival hosted by Escape Studios is returning to London from 16-18 March 2020.  As in previous years, the festival hosts industry speakers to come and talk about the latest developments in Animation, Games and VFX.  In 2020, the festival will focus on discovering and developing new and emerging talent.  Two parts of The VFX Festival 2020 - EDU and Emerging Talent - will take place on 16 - 18 March at the Southbank Centre - the UK’s largest arts centre on the South Bank of the Thames.

Who's coming
Like last year, the 2020 schedule hosts a series of industry talks and showcases from across the VFX, Animation, Games and Motion Graphics sectors.  VFX is a constantly changing landscape. Last year's "big thing" is this year's old news.

So come along, and find out about the latest trends in our industry. So far, confirmed industry participants include BlueZoo, Creative Assembly, DNEG, Framestore, ILM, Jellyfish Pictures, Milk VFX, and MPC Film.

Recruiters
For many students at Bucks - and also recent graduates - the most important part of the Festival is probably the recruiters, who come from all the big animation and VFX houses hunting for talent. If you'd like to meet in person the people who could help you get a job (and why wouldn't you?) - this is the place to be.

How to get ready
And one last thing...don't forget to print out some business cards first.  Can't afford them? Make some yourself!
