I am the
social rep for the animation and VFX course here at bucks and recently; got the
chance to collaborate with the other social media reps to record some
interviews with existing students on the 3 media courses, Animation & VFX,
Film & Television Production and Audio and Music Production. The purpose of
the videos is to help prospective students to get an insight into what it’s like
to study her at Bucks.

This
experience taught me a lot about collaborating with others on a project. In
this project I collaborated with a Film and Television Production 3rd
year student, and an Audio and Music Production 3rd year student. We
worked on all aspects of the project from the planned right through to
production and postproduction. I got the chance to help with the camera work
and see how important it is to have an on set audio team to create a
professional outcome.

For any
animation students looking to shoot live action, I’d say once you have a good team
together a high level communication and planning is vital. It’s great to sit
down with the team and plan it all out; things like dates, equipment hire and
locations need to be decided very early on to ensure the project goes as
planned.
